CHEF MARIE

Chef Marie (Anita Marie Hobson) is the owner and chef of Marie's Menu.  She is a self-trained home cook who is passionate about cooking and creating combinations of flavors that will set her dishes apart from any of her counterparts. 

Chef Marie developed her enthusiasm for cooking at a very young age, after being inspired by her grandmother, Lucy. For more than 35 years, she has honed her skills by preparing food for others.  Since 2010, as owner of Lucy's Specialty Sweets, Chef Marie has been serving her customers by catering their desserts for the holidays and special events.  But in 2018, Marie's Menu was born when she made the decision to expand her business and offer her savory dishes.

Chef Marie is a food scientist and nutritionist who understands the science behind healthy food combinations.  And for this reason, Marie's Menu also offers meals with more nutrient-dense foods for those who prefer healthier food options.
